I believe you have made a typing error on your web site: ““The present club was started on the 13th of April, 1975, at a time when a determined attempt was being made by the gentleman already named (Adcock) and Mr. Dawes to “enlarge” the Bulldog from its average size to one of a weight of 100-120 lbs. Although the dog was mainly in the” I think the date should read “13th of April, 1875″ (not 1975). This is because Mr Frank Adcock was my great grandfather.

Hi, Helen. I think I just copy and pasted that info from the Bulldog Club site. I’ll change it on my blog and will check the bulldog club’s site, too!
